Chief Operating Officer
Robert D. Jackson, MD serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Red Reef Anesthesia, bringing over 25 years of clinical and administrative expertise to the position. Overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the organization. Prior to assuming the position Dr Jackson was the Lead Anesthesiologist for Red Reef ensuring proper staffing and recruitment of staff.
Before joining Red Reef in 2023, Dr Jackson was the Chief of Anesthesia for Physician Partners of America and prior to this a practicing Anesthesiologist in the US Navy. While in the Navy, Dr Jackson was promoted to hospital commander; responsible for a staff of 1200.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Dr Jackson earned a medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine. Dr Jackson is a retired Aviator and Medical Corps Officer, reaching the rank of Captain, having served for 34 years in the United States Navy.
